Introduction
Carbon Molecular Sieve CMS-220 is a type of microporous carbon-based adsorbent with specific molecular-scale pore diameters, and CMS-220 indicates that its nitrogen production capacity is 220 Nm3/h·t. Carbon molecular sieves are composed mainly of carbon elements, with a narrow distribution of micropores, the pore sizes are mostly in the range of 0.3~0.5nm, and they appear as black cylindrical solids.
Carbon molecular sieve possesses a well-developed pore structure, uniform pore size distribution, and high thermal stability. The micropores exhibit a strong instantaneous affinity for oxygen molecules, so it is widely used in pressure swing adsorption (PSA) nitrogen production process, where they preferentially adsorb oxygen molecules and restrict nitrogen molecule diffusion, thus efficiently separating nitrogen from the air.
Carbon molecular sieve CMS-220 is suitable for small and medium-scale nitrogen generators and is applicable to scenarios requiring a stable nitrogen supply, such as food packaging and electronic component protection.
